Review: "When Dad Killed Mom"

As a reader I would highly recommend the book "When Dad Killed Mom" by Julius Lester, especially for people for who like easier language and forward works. This book is simple and yet mind churnning in the reading. As a writer I would also recommend this book for childrens authors or beginning writers because of the simplicity. The way words are put and the vocabulary that is used is very simple and yet paints a very vivid picture into the minds of the readers. This book may not have the most interesting and intreging writing but certaintly does get the image and the point across to those on the other end of the book. I like the way the words were put and how they were used through the book and I want to portray that simple understanding into my own works, especially for myself being a beginning writer. In conclusion this book is good as a reader and as a writer and is easy for everyone to understand and to follow for their own works.
